The EatStrong Philosophy
Making the right choices, more often than not, has more to do with understanding, than willpower.
Understanding the relationship between one’s mind and body, as well as recognizing the fascinating yet profoundly simple physiological relationship between fuel and performance are the essential concepts of the EatStrong program.
There are no shortcuts to a leaner, more efficient body. “Quick fix solutions” lead to muscle loss and frustration. The EatStrong Philosophy is based on the principle that your program will eventually become not only habit, but integral to who you are. There are no shortcuts, but the wait and the work are undeniably worthwhile.
Since inception, the EatStrong philosophy has remained unaffected by fads and trends, remaining true to its original premise. The key to success is finding your personal blueprint and adopting it for the rest of your life. To quote Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit". Remember: good habits are as hard to break as bad ones. We can work together regardless of your concerns, fears or athletic ability. All that is required is the willingness to make a change for the long term. As long as better choices are implemented most of the time, your plan will be effective.
It is hard to change, but with professional guidance you can. Your optimal nutrition plan, which includes:
- increasing lean muscle mass; and
- reducing body fat and keeping it off
is a very individual experience, and we will approach it accordingly.
While no two programs are ever quite the same, EatStrong emphasizes the following three key components to success:
- Eat plenty of lean protein, fiber, & water.
- Get plenty of sleep and exercise.
- Be consistent and accountable.
Everyone enjoys the occasional cookie, pizza, or cocktail. Luckily, (barring food allergies) there is absolutely no reason that all these things and more can be part of your plan - in moderation.
