Often when one is losing weight and working out, it can appear on the scale that nothing is happening. This is because you may gain lean mass while losing fat mass.
Below are two pictures, one taken today and one yesterday, of women who have started light exercise programs while following an Eatstrong nutrition plan. Note the fat loss and the lean mass gain:

While some people may argue this looks slow, note that each of these women are ONLY losing body fat, and actually gained lean mass. This is actually slightly faster than I like to see people lose. Remember: they are note counting calories or limiting portions.

This was a nice read because it stayed simple and didn’t feel like it was trying to impress anyone with jargon. I liked how the points were broken up so you can skim and still get what’s going on, and the quick examples helped it feel more “real” instead of just theory. Halfway through I ended up clicking around newimage.io too, mostly because it has that same straightforward, practical vibe when you want to double-check something. Nothing felt padded out, and the “why this matters” bits were way more useful than a bunch of random tips. Also, the page itself is easy on the eyes, with clear headings and short chunks of text that don’t turn into a wall.
This was a pretty chill read — it got to the point fast and didn’t make me feel like I had to decode anything. I liked how it sprinkled in small, real-ish examples so the tips didn’t feel random, and the explanations actually made the “why” make sense. Halfway through I ended up clicking around newimage.io too, mostly because it gave me the same helpful, no-drama vibe when you want to check something quickly. Nothing felt padded out or like it was trying too hard, just someone sharing what works. Also, the way the page is broken up makes it easy to bounce between parts without losing your place, with clear headings and short chunks of text.
